2017 General Membership Meeting

Our general membership meeting will be held on Aug. 7th 7pm at Newburgh Swim club. All members are welcome to attend. The proposed by law changes will be posted at the Swim club and on the website by July 31st.  We will be electing a new president and vice-president.

Bylaws that are being proposed to change are below.  The current bylaws can be found HERE

Page 1 Article 3 Governement – Add section 4

The board shall vote after completion of a 3 year term to reimburse the membership of each appointed member on the Board of Directors.

Page 4 Article 5 Section 2 – Change to

All officers must be elected from the membership of the Board of Directors, but other directors may be elected from the Board of Directors or the membership at large.  All officers shall hold office until their successors take office unless sooner removed by the  Board of Directors.

Page 4 Article 5 Sec 6E – Remove completely

Summit at the General Membership meeting an annual statement of the financial position of the club.

Page 7 Article 6 Sec 11C – Add

In the event one person signs the sale bond, 50% of the bond will be returned.
