It’s that time of year where school is out and our club hours are extended to everyone can take advantage of the club late into the evening.

On Thursday June 15th the club will be open from 12pm to 8pm.

Friday June 16th we will be open from 12pm until 10pm and will be open those same hours every day for the remainder of the season.

We will also begin our Adult Lap Swim on June 16th. The pool will be open from 11am to 12pm for adults (18 and older) for lap swim

On Sunday June 4th at 1pm we welcome all of our new members to come and join us to learn about their new club and all that it has to offer.

Members of our Board of Directors will be on hand to speak about club procedures, schedule of activities, opportunities to volunteer and give back to the club as well as answer any questions new members may have.

The time is finally here for opening weekend 2017 at the Newburgh Swim Club!

The Club opens this Friday May 26th to host all of our members and their guest during Memorial Day Weekend.  After the long weekend we will begin our Early Season Hours for the remainder of the school year.

During the off season we have made several improvements based on the feedback from our members from the All Members meeting in October and the Member Survey distributed at the end of last season.  Some of the highlights are:

• Concrete patio table area next to the wade pool with six new tables with umbrellas
• New full size basketball court just west of the volleyball court
• Outdoor rental lockers
• Ice for purchase from the snack bar

There are a few other improvements and additions that will be added in the first few weeks after opening.

We can’t wait to see you at the club.  Enjoy the 2017 season!

Summer is almost here and the Social Team at NSC has lots of plans for fun at the club!

One event that we are for sure in need of volunteers for is the 4^th of July Members Event, which runs from 12pm-3pm.  We need 4 people to chair the event.  These 4 people will each earn 20 guest passes to oversee and help plan the event.  There will also be guest passes available for the chairs to offer helpers (cooks, game runners, etc.)

A sign-up sheet will be available at the club on opening day for those that are interested.

The past month has been a busy time in our membership department.  During this time we have been processing all of the payments from our returning members (thanks for paying on time!) and extending offers to those on our wait list when we receive a sell request from one of our outgoing members.  We will be updating the wait list periodically when there is movement so those on the list can see what position they are in.  In general we update the list about every two weeks.  When you reach the top of the list someone from our membership department will be reaching out to you once a membership becomes available for you to purchase.

Invoices have been mailed and should have arrived outlining member dues for the 2017 season.  We ask that all members either pay their membership dues or sell their membership prior to the March 31st deadline.  For continuing members this avoids us charging you a late fee.  For those selling their membership you also avoid a late fee, you get your bond $ back, and you allow us to offer your membership to one of the many people on our waitlist.

The invoices for the 2017 season will be dropped in the mail on March 1st so they should be arriving at member’s mailboxes a few days later.  Once you receive your invoice please pay close attention to the due dates required for both paying your bill and selling your membership.

The Club will be holding the 2016 General Membership Meeting on Monday October 17th @ 7pm.

The meeting will be held at the Livonia Civic Center Library which is located at 32777 Five Mile Road in Livonia.  

During this meeting the Directors will be reporting out on the year at the club as well as electing new directors and voting on new proposed bylaws.  Check on the 2016 General Membership Meeting page to see the specifics about the open positions and the proposed bylaw changes.

We will be having a Euchre Tournament this Wednesday August 31st from 7-10 pm. The cost of is only $5 per player and includes pizza, snacks and lots of fun.
